Dear reader,

I am writing this on a sunny, windy day here in the Bay of Plenty.  Christmas and the summer holidays are just around the corner but I am running one more workshop this year at Sue's place near Waihi on  Sunday 14th December.  Sue lives on a dairy farm and is famous for selling 'weeds' at the Tauranga Farmers Market, ensuring everyone who wants to can make their wild green smoothies.

Tomorrow however, I am flying to Nelson to run two workshops down there this coming weekend. See the flyer below and pass it on to anyone who may be interested.

The featured plant in this newsletter is Nettle - all about it's nutritional qualities and recipes for soup and a smoothie.  You can also make a liquid fertiliser with nettle by soaking it in water and then diluting it before putting it on your plants.
